Hiking Trip – Joffre Lakes, BC

My first hiking trip this summer in BC is the Joffre Lakes Provincial Park.  It is about half hour north of Pemberton, BC, and the park has three lakes: lower, middle and upper.  The total distance for this hiking trip is about 5.5 km from the lower lake to the upper lake, but the toughest part is the first 3.5km as it is very steep.  Nevertheless, it was a great exercise and photos came out very well.  The lakes are famous for its natural but saturated aqua color.  Personally I think the middle lake is the best, but for people who don’t want to hike, the lower lake is extremely easy to access and can still give you a very good idea how beautiful these lakes are.
